Under 12
The U 12 football side we are fielding this year is an introduction to footy for boys and girls.   It will be about encouraging kids to have a go without the pressures of success.   There are no scores kept, no points awarded and therefore no win at all cost approach.   There are no finals played either.

The games are played on a Saturday morning at 9.00am, with all players required at the ground by 8.30am.   The game will be played on ¾ of the oval comprising of 4 by 12 minute quarters.   The game to be concluded by 9.50am.   15 players are required on the ground compared to the usual 18.   If the opposition side has not enough players and we have too many then we will loan our excess players to them to enable an even contest, and vice versa if needed.   All matches are to be played according to AFL junior match policy rules for 10 - 11 year olds.

I will be requiring plenty of help on game day including
    - assistant coach / runner (as I am not available every Saturday)
    - team manager
    - central umpire
    - goal umpire
    - time keeper
Also the club will need someone to man the gate on home game mornings for an hour or so from 8.15am.   (preferably someone local)

Memberships can be purchased from the club that will include players registration, and 2 adults entry to all home games.   Children U 18 get free admission.   See myself or the club for further details.

Newlyn F.N.C. will supply brand new jumpers for all players thanks to the generosity of the Creswick Community Bendigo Bank sponsorship.   Players are asked to supply and wear blue shorts for home games and white shorts for away games, also Geelong hoop socks are to be worn.
