Photos from the Mill DayAndersons Mill day Sitting down on the job!! | AROUND THE GROUNDThe seniors are to be congratulated once again for their performances over the second half of the season the club is very proud of their efforts and the way they have represented our club. The game against Learmonth last week resulted in a 52 point victory our 7th for the season Nathan Skewes, Luke Preston & Chris Stephens were instrumental in a solid victory. Our reserves put in a much more committed performance & were unlucky not to cap it off with a win Scott Mckay turned back the clock with a fine performance Josh Buckland & Matt Lafranchi also played well. The U18s put in a solid effort but were unable to get the points even though they had numerous opportunities but were unable to get the score on the board Leigh Allen continued his stellar season supported by Daniel Hammond & Ryan Jeffrey. Our U15s had a great win locking themselves in for a finals campaign Angus McNaughton, Sean Dummett & Shaun Willmott continue to lead the way getting plenty of support from the whole team. The U12s once again shone the improvement shown by the whole playing group is fantastic the entire club is very proud of the way the kids represent our club both on Saturdays & their fine performance in the lightning premiership on Sunday. Over on the netball court the A grade girls had a loss but continue to improve each week.Tiarni Beasley & Nichole In B grade Anna Clohesy & promising junior Tess Lindsay played exceptional games but were unable to pull off a much needed win. Our C grade girls also went down but continue to put in each week Emily Barnell & Kate Woodhams played well. The U17s got back on the winners list with a hard fought victory Victoria Stewart & Tess Lindsay played great games for their team. Our U15s kept their finals hopes alive with another strong win Angele Maher & Cassie Slater was instrumental in a fighting 4 goal win. The U13s put in put in their best performance for the year taking it right up to the Learmonth team Holly McEldrew & Shania Slater were terrific the girl also performed well on Sunday in the lightning premiership getting their first win for the year the looks of excitement on the girls faces after the win was priceless. On the social side the Dimond Medal is on tonight 14th / August and the junior presentation tomorrow 15th August which should be attended by everyone at the club both junior & senior lets finish the season off with a big attendance.
